TransAsia Airways to call off more flights

(MENAFN) Taiwan-based TransAsia Airways cancelled more flights this week since pilots were recalled for retraining after its second plane crash in 7 months, AFP reported.

The airline said that 90 local flights would be cancelled on Monday, and another 32 on Tuesday. More flights could be hit if the tests for all pilots could not be completed in four days.

Pilots who fail the tests will be grounded instantly and indefinitely pending further training, a spokesman added.
