(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Abdullatif Al-Zayani on Sunday met with visiting UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways of cooperation between the GCC and the UN regarding the latest Yemeni political situation as well as other issues of common interest, according to a GCC statement.
The UN chief arrived here earlier on Saturday on his first visit to Riyadh since Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz acceded to throne last month.
