Par'l defers proposals on Kuwait Airways, Capital Market Authority


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The National Assembly's financial and economic affairs committee deferred its final decision on legislative proposals in regards to the privatization of Kuwait Airways and the amendments of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) law.

Head of the committee MP Mohammad Al-Jabri told the press, on Sunday, that the proposals were conflicting and representatives from the national carrier and Kuwait Investment Authority had different perspectives on the government's 75 percent share.

Al-Jabri, meanwhile, pointed out that 39 governmental amendments to the CMA law were also postponed until next week's session.
