Egyptian police arrest 35 suspected militants


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Egyptian Ministry of Interior said Sunday evening its forces dismantled four cells for involvement in acts of sabotage, intimidation and terrorism.

A total of 35 suspected terrorists have been arrested in the governorates of Alexandria, Giza, Daqahliya and Fayyoum, according to a statement by the Ministry.

The detainees confessed of association with the banned Muslim Brotherhood Group, planting explosive devises near key security and public facilities, and possession of firearms, it added.
