Saudi grants S. Korean Hyundai E&C USD126m project


(MENAFN) Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. said it has signed a USD126 million business deal to place power transmission lines in Saudi Arabia, Yonhap News reported.

South Korea's No. 2 builder is to build 249 kilometers of a 380-kilovolt transmission line throughout Riyadh, with construction process predicted to take about 2 years, the firm said.

"The latest project comes as the company received recognition for excellent engineering skills and overall performance seen in other similar projects that are underway in Saudi Arabia," Hyundai E&C said.
