(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) today denounced the Houthis coup in Yemen where they controlled the constitutional institutions including the government and parliament, leaving the national, regional and international efforts to being about stability in Yemen at stake.
In a statement, Iyad bin Amin Madani, the Secretary General of the OIC, said the coup puts peace and stability in Yemen at risk and represents a threat on the security and stability of the region and the world at large.
He called on the world community to shoulder its responsibility to denounce this coup and never deal with its outcomes.
