Weather to be warm today, cold tomorrow


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The weather on Saturday is expected to be relatively warm in most parts of the Kingdom and warm in the Jordan Valley and the Gulf of Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.

Temperatures will remain above their annual average, with clouds at high altitudes.

During the night, temperatures are expected to drop with chances for occasional showers in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be southwesterly moderate to westerly brisk blowing dust at times.

According to JMD, a tangible drop in temperatures is expected on Sunday and Monday; therefore the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a chance for showers in the northern region, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk blowing dust in the Badia areas.

Maximum temperatures in Amman for today are expected to reach a high of 21 degrees Celsius dropping down to 9 degrees at night.
