Saudi Arabia Announces 11 Cases of Corona Virus


(MENAFN- QNA) Saudi Ministry of Health has recorded 11 cases infected with Corona Virus in some parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the beginning of February, the Ministry of Health said in a statement carried by Saudi Press Agency SPA today.

'The infected cases were found in Hofuf (2), Dammam (1), Kharj (2), Riyadh (5), Najran (1). The number of cases would increase in the coming period due to the change in weather,' the statement added.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it continues cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to implement various precautionary and preventive measures.

The total number of cases infected with Corona Virus and currently under treatment in hospitals reached 15, including the 11 cases which have been recorded since the beginning of this month.
