Saudi- Deadline for STEA nomination extended
(MENAFN- Arab News) The Saudi Commission on Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) recently announced that the deadline for nominations for the 5th Saudi Tourism Excellence Awards (STEA) has been extended to Feb 25.
STEA is a platform launched in 2010 to acknowledge Saudi Arabia's tourism industry's excellence as it promotes commitment in the country to improve services and facilities.
The platform's website has been revamped including hassle-free nomination procedures and electronic voting.
This online system also allows the jury to accurately examine the nominations and voting percentage ensuring compliance with the platform's criteria for each category.
'This year's competition has been extended in order to allow contestants in the areas of tourism hospitality and restaurant greater chance for recognition of their efforts.' an SCTA's source told Arab News.
Award winners will be announced at the Travel and Tourism Investment Forum at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center on March 30.
