JAKARTA February 6 2015 – PT Pertamina keeps developing the alternatives of fuel in order to reduce dependency on fossil energy import.

Dwi Soetjipto President Director of Pertamina affirms that the company continues to look for alternatives from the existing fuel considering that Indonesia still has dependency on fuel and becomes the importer of oil.

“Hopefully we could get more varied alternatives of fuel in the future. This will be required to build energy empowerment and sovereignty” he said at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta Thursday (2/5/2015).

The fuel alternative which will be sold in Java Madura and Bali is claimed to be environmentally friendly and economic compared to the premium fuel with same content of RON. The price will be even more competitive compared to the premium fuel.
