(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Khaleej Times excelled at the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2015 Media Awards ceremony on Wednesday, winning the prize for the Best Editorial Team Coverage and the first and second prizes in the Best Interview category. Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group and Expo 2020 Higher Committee Chairman, honoured the winners.
Khaleej Times (part of the Galadari Group of Companies) won the award for Best Editorial Team Coverage among English newspapers for its diverse range of topics and interesting features.
This win acknowledges the hard work of our reporters, editors, designers and photojournalists. City editor Mustafa Al Zarooni received the trophy on behalf of the KT team.
In the Best Interview category in English, Enid Grace Parker, senior sub-editor of City Times, was chosen as the winner of the first prize for her interview titled "Enchanted Style", while Syed Muzaffar Ali Rizvi, business news editor, came second with his interview titled "This brand's a winner".

The DSF 2015 Media Awards ceremony took place at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa, and was also attended by Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General, Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment, and a number of distinguished guests and esteemed members of local, regional and international media organisations.
The 20th edition of DSF was held from January 1 to February 1, under the theme, "20th Anniversary € A Journey of Celebrations", offering more than 150 citywide events, mega attractions, numerous shopping opportunities and winning options for residents and visitors from around the world.
The ceremony included a short video presentation on DSF's journey in the last two decades, showcasing DSF's position as a highly successful, unique global family-friendly extravaganza.
