King receives phone calls condoling him over killing of Al Kasasbeh


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Wednesday, received phone calls from world leaders and senior officials in which they expressed their condolences following the martyrdom of the pilot hero, Muath Al Kasasbeh, and condemned the criminal and cowardly act committed by the terrorist organization, Daash.

They also expressed solidarity with Jordan in these difficult circumstances, praising the significant role played by the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab army in dealing with the threat of terrorism and extremism, which threaten the security and stability of the region and its peoples.

The King received phone calls from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

His Majesty the King also received phone call from Saudi Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, who expressed his deep condolences for martyrdom of pilot Al Kasasbeh, and appreciation for the high level of professionalism of the Royal Jordanian Air Force pilots.

The King received separate phone calls from Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, and the former King of Spain, Juan Carlos, in which they expressed, to the King and the people of Jordan, their sincere condolences for the killing of Al Kasasbeh.
