Oman to host oil and gas summit on May 26, 27


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The inaugural Arabian Sea Region Oil & Gas Summit will be held in Muscat on May 26 and 27 a press release stated.

Organised by the International Research Networks (IRN) the summit will facilitate discussions among investors from Oman Somalia Yemen Pakistan India Sri Lanka and Iran. 'The Arabian Peninsula has vast reserves of oil and natural gas and with generous terms for developing fields the area is an attractive new exploration frontier. Recent discoveries in the region have also boosted the interest of international investors.'

A distinguished panel of speakers consisting of government officials and senior executives from the oil and gas sector will deliver lectures on: Arabian Sea as the future hydrocarbon epicentre for the Middle East

Somalia: Unexplored hydrocarbons and government incentives for further exploration

India: Oil and gas market offshore fields in the Arabian Sea geology and discoveries

Sri Lanka: Ultra-deep blocks
