SEWA, Deutsche Bank discuss cooperation


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, SEWA, Dr. Rashid Al Leem, and a delegation from Deutsche Bank headed by Omar Abu-Sharif, Head of PIC, MEA and Head of Levant Sales and Coverage at Deutsche Bank, has discussed aspects of joint cooperation in a number of projects included in the future strategic plan of the authority.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on a number of developments in the authority and ways of strengthening bilateral relations between both sides in the field of renewable energy.

Al Leem stressed the importance of benefiting from the expertise, international experience and the importance of cooperation with Deutsche Bank, especially in the field of facilitating procedures and to attract investors to take advantage of the ambitious projects that the authority is planning to implement in the future, in a bid to achieve a quantum leap in its areas of work and to achieve sustainable development.

Abu-Sharif stressed the bank's keenness to activate cooperation with SEWA, especially after positive development steps in its implementation, stressing the bank's interest in cooperating with the authority in the implementation of projects and studies of new and renewable energy in the next stage.
