(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Rubio Ibanez Ignacio has praised the strong ties between Kuwait and Spain on Tuesday.
The upcoming visit of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to Spain tomorrow will help develop those relations in all fields, the Minister told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Kuwait plays a big role in cooperating with the international community to fight terrorism, he said, adding that terrorism does not represent any religion.
Meanwhile, the Spanish official praised Kuwait's charity works, noting the third donors conference for Syria, the country will be hosting next March.
Ignacio also said that the Middle East and North Africa regions are of great importance to Spain which shares with deep-rooted and ancient ties.
