Impressive show by Oman AutoX team in Sharjah

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) A four-member Oman AutoX team returned from Sharjah UAE recently after an impressive display in the first round of the 2015 UAE AutoX Championships.

The team comprised of Mannan al Rawahi Mazin al Shaibani Nabeel al Shaibani and Al Salt al Kharusi.

The Shaibani brothers came up with a good show in their Mitsubishi EVO-6. Competing in the AWD (all wheel drive) category Nabeel came first while Mazin came a close second.

And in the overall rankings Nabeel took a podium spot with a third place overall and Mazin was a close fourth.

Driving a Ford Focus XT Rawahi finished third in the FWD (front wheel drive) class stock category and was placed seventh overall.

Kharusi driving a Subaru STI came first in the AWD stock category to finish fifth overall.

With all the four drivers managing to finish among the top ten among a field of 25 drivers the team's hopes are high for the next round scheduled on February 26.
