(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Just days after winning this year's Dakar Rally € the world's greatest and toughest motor race € Nasser Al Attiyah has returned from South America to join Alfardan Automobiles in celebrating his epic victory in the MINI ALL4 Racing car.
Omar Alfardan, President and CEO of Alfardan Group, and Mohammad Kandeel, Chief Operating Officer, Alfardan Group € Automotive Operations, welcomed Al Attiyah at a cake cutting ceremony held yesterday at the BMW Group importer's new MINI-dedicated showroom.
Commenting on the occasion, Omar Alfardan, said that he was proud that MINI ALL4 Racing had continued its success story at one of the toughest races in motorsport - with 2015 being its fourth consecutive win - and that it illustrated the scale of the brand's ability to build incredible cars: "We are honoured to welcome Nasser Al Attiyah to our new MINI showroom to commemorate his hard fought win at the Dakar Rally," he said.

Al Attiyah and his French co-driver Mathieu Baumel clinched victory after a gruelling 9,000 kilometres race spanning Argentina, Chile and Bolivia, last month.
