Childrens Toy Library inaugurated in Daegu

(MENAFNEditorial) RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) and Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) inaugurated a Children's Toy Library in Anshim Social Welfare Community Center in Daegu Metropolitan City, South Korea.

Benefitting the Daegu Metropolitan City, Kyungbok National University Hospital and Community Chest of Korea (Daegu Branch), the toy library is an extension of RasGas corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes in cooperation with KOGAS supporting students' education globally.

A fun and creative way to engage children, a toy library, similar to a book library, provides a toy loan service. Children can borrow from a range of toys, designed to support a child's skill development and imagination.

The toy library is part of a CSR initiative between RasGas and KOGAS that was agreed in 2014 to contribute to the welfare of the community in Daegu.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from RasGas' Korean Liaison office, KOGAS as well as the Mayor of Dong-gu district of Daegu Metropolitan City amongst other key officials.

In December 2014, KOGAS and RasGas together completed and inaugurated the refurbishment of Moonlight Children's Park in Daegu City, which was part of this social responsibility initiative.
