Kuwait- Awqaf Ministry inaugurates 4th strategic planning conf. Monday


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs will inaugurate Monday the Fourth Conference on Outstanding Practices in Strategic Planning which will mull the role of the Islamic, governmental and developmental institutions.

"The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait is one of the first Arab and Islamic institutions which has initiated the application of the strategic planning through practices in all elements of performance in accordance with the strategic vision which put it in the ranks of distinguished institutions in this regard," Head of the Planning and Information at the Ministry Hazaa Al-Fadheli said in a press statement.

He noted that the three-day conference aims to highlight the applied role of the Islamic, government and developmental institutions in encouraging the Islamic and Arab institutions to apply the strategic planning approach in the institutional performance and creating strategic leaders and discovering talent management.

It also aims to highlight the applied and practical approach in this regard and show the impact on the institutional performance in the Islamic and Arab communities, with monitoring the distinct experience of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait in encouraging the Arab and Islamic institutions in the field of the outstanding practices in strategic planning.

Moreover, the conferees will also discuss the mechanisms and applied programs used in building strategic leadership capable of leading the strategic performance to encourage these institutions to change the traditional methods and change for better.

He stated that the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has organized three conferences during the past three years on the strategic planning, the first of was held under the title: Outstanding Practices in Strategic Planning. The second was: Measurement of Strategic Performance and Excellence. The third one was: Strategic Leadership.
