Fighting Brakes out Between Army and South Yemeni Militants

(MENAFN- QNA) Violent clashes have raged between Yemeni army forces and militants linked to the southern movement demanding secession.

Security sources said the clashes broke out against the backlash of the southern movement's besieging of military positions belonging to the 33rd armoured brigade in Al-Mallah in the eastern area of the governorate.

The sources said a number of people were injured in the clashes in which the two parties used various kinds of heavy and light weapons.
