China to be the largest trade partner of Iran


(MENAFN) The director general of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran's Office for Asia-Pacific Trade confirmed that China is the largest trade partner of Iran, Iran Daily reported.

He added that China is the destination of 29 percent of total commodities exported by Iran, and the country meets one-fourth of Iran's import requirements.

He showed that about USD8.11 billion worth of non-oil goods were exported from Iran to China from March 21, 2014-January 20, 2015.

The official noted that China is planning to attract a bigger share of global tourism income in 2020 and also use its technological development to generate huge revenues.
