Al Tayer visits RTA's Smart Services platform during Customers Week

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Roads and Transport Authority, RTA, has visited the Authority's platform in Dubai Mall as part of the events of Customers' Week.

Al Tayer attended a briefing about electronic and smart services showcased at the platform, which were hugely popular among visitors to the mall as well as beneficiaries of RTA services.

Yousef Al Rida, CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector at the RTA, said, "During the events of the third edition of Customers' Week, the RTA was keen on showcasing its e-services and smart apps with a view to raising the awareness of customers of the features of these technologies which save much of the time and effort taken to process such transactions.

"A part of the technologies on offer was the smart kiosk, which provides an array of self-services that can be processed by customers themselves without having to report to customer service centres. The range of services provided through the kiosk includes the renewal of vehicle registration, inquiry and payment of offences, printing vehicle certificate, issuance of vehicle ownership card, and the issuance of vehicle ownership card in replacement of a damaged or lost one."
