Jordan wants to free Rishawi for kidnapped pilot

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Jordan said here on Wednesday it is ready to set free prisoner Sajeda Al Rishawi if Jordanian captive pilot Muath Al Kasasbeh is released unharmed.

Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammed Al Momani said: "From the very beginning, Jordan's stance was aimed at preserving the life of pilot Al Kasasbeh." Al-Kasasbeh had been captured by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) after his fighter jet crashed over Raqqa, Syria.

Sajeda Al Rishawi is on death row in Jordan in connection with the Amman hotel terrorist attacks that killed 60 people in November 2005.
