RAK Ruler attends camel racing festival

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah attended today the final meetings of the 23rd Arabian Camel Racing Festival at Al Sawan racetrack.

Sheikh Saud praised the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to preserve UAE's heritage and traditional sports. He also lauded the unlimited support given by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to the camel racing events across the UAE.

During the festival, Sheikh Saud hosted a lunch banquet which was attended by Sheikhs, senior officials, and owners of pure-bred Arabian camels.
