(MENAFN) Official figures showed that the Mexican economy has expanded by 2 percent in November 2014 compared to the same month a year earlier, Xinhua reported.
The National Institute of Statistics and geography (INEGI) said that the growth is attributed to increases in all the three sectors of the economy, the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.
The primary sector grew 0.7 percent on-year, thanks to an increase in agricultural production, while the secondary sector, which includes water and gas, grew by 1.8 percent in the month.
Meanwhile, the tertiary services sector, which includes commerce, real estate, cargo transport, credit and banking institutions, expanded by 2.3 percent, the INEGI data showed.
