Military source: Daesh video being verified
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A Jordan Armed Forces source said a recording attributed to Daesh and carried a threat to kill both Jordanian pilot, Muath Kasasbeh, who was taken hostage after his plane went down over Syria's Raqqa, and a Japanese hostage, is being verified.
The source said the recording included a demand by the group from Jordanian authorities to release Sajida al-Rishawi, the woman who tried to blow herself up in an Al-Qaeda attack in Amman in 2005, in return for releasing the Japanese hostage but without mentioning the Jordanian pilot although the group threatens to kill both hostages.
