Sheikh Saif, Jordanian counterpart discuss stronger police cooperation


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Jordan's Interior Minister, Hussain Al Majali, on Tuesday discussed ways for strengthening cooperation on police work between the UAE and Jordan in the service of the common interests of the two countries.

During their meeting which took place at Abu Dhabi Police College, the two sides also discussed other matters of common interest.

Minister Al Majali is leading a Jordanian delegation on a current visit to the UAE.

Colonel Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director of Peripheral Regions Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police, and Major General Nasser Lakhreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and members of the Jordanian delegations attended the meeting.
