(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, started on Tuesday a three-day official visit to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
During the visit, he will meet President Asharaf Ghani, the Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, as well as other officials of the Afghan Government .
The official talks to be conducted by Madani with the leadership in the country, will stress the OIC support to the people and Government of Afghanistan and the Government's efforts to realize peace, stability and sustainable development.
During his stay to Afghanistan, the Secretary General will also discuss the promotion of bilateral relations between the OIC and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in all fields.
