(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) A Bahrain Parliamentary delegation has met with a number of European Union Parliament members on the sidelines of activities of "This is Bahrain", being held by the Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations in Brussels, Belgium.
According to Bahrain News Agency, BNA, the parties reviewed means of promoting parliamentary cooperation and activating friendship committees. The delegation also briefed their European counterparts on Bahrain's efforts in promoting human rights and prisoners' and detainees' rights. The European parliamentary members expressed pleasure in the openness enjoyed by Bahraini delegation members.
