Mohammed Abdullah Al Maliki, Secretary, National Traffic Safety Committee, and President of the organising committee for the 24th World ITMA (International Traffic Medicine Association) Congress, launched the congress website (http://www.itma-congress-2015.com) in Arabic and English.
Under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar is hosting the congress on November 16-18.
'Traffic Medicine and Road Safety in Fast Developing Countries' is the theme of the event that will provide a multidisciplinary network and forum for scientists and practitioners involved in traffic safety to exchange information on latest issues in the field.
Brig. Al Maliki said the forum will discuss issues related to traffic medicine, including healthcare, rescue services, security and legal measures and educational programmes integrated into traffic medicine system.
