(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced traffic diversion on the southbound Al Shamal Road at Interchange N12 in Umm Salal Mohammed.
It will be effective from Friday until six 6 months.
The diversion is required to build a bridge over the proposed N12 Interchange as part of ongoing work to improve the road.
The 1.4km diversion has three lanes south-bound that will have four lanes at the end of the diversion - the same number of lanes on Al Shamal Road. Ashghal will install signs to advise motorists about the diversion.
It has urged road users to abide by speed limits and follow signs to ensure their safety.
