Indonesia, China to develop bilateral economic relations


(MENAFN) Indonesia and China held the first bilateral economic meeting on Monday evening, aiming to improve future cooperation between the two countries in the field, QNA reported.

"Indonesia and China have shared a strong relationship for long, even before Indonesia's independence. Today, the countries have established a comprehensive strategic partnership," Indonesian Economic Coordinating Minister said.

According to him, initial relations between the two nations are developing well. He hopes that cooperation can be enhanced in the future.

The leader of the Chinese delegation from China State Council, stated that an agreement between the two countries to develop improved economic relations was reached during the President visit to China to meet its President on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation in 2014.
