Bahrain's GHG to acquire BTC
(MENAFN) Bahrain's Gulf Hotels Group (GHG) said that it is planning to acquire Bahrain Tourism Company (BTC), Gulf Daily News reported.
The company said that it presented a letter for the board of directors of BTC indicating its potential interest in acquiring 100 per cent of BTC's shares through a possible share-swap offer.
BTC's major undertaking, which specializes in building and investing in hotels and other tourism projects, include the Crowne Plaza Hotel, and Bahrain Conference Centre, investments in properties, shares, managed funds and deposits, as well owning and operates Bahrain Tourism Company travel division.
