(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Anti-Narcotics Department, in cooperation with Gendarmerie, on Monday arrested five persons for possessing weapons and three kilograms of Hashish, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Monday.
After the Anti-Narcotics team followed up on a number of suspects involved in trafficking and promoting contraband substances in the Central Badia area, the forces raided a house and apprehended five people.
The search yielded six automatic weapons, two pistols, communication devices, ammunition, in addition to three kg of Hashish.
The culprits were referred to the state security court's attorney general.
