Jewish settlers storm Nablus

Ramallah, Jan.27 (Petra)-Violent clashes erupted Tuesday morning between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers after a group of Jewish settlers stormed what they claim to be "Joseph's Tomb" in the West Bank city of Nablus.

A young man was injured by a live bullet shot by the Israeli soldiers during the confrontations.

The Palestinian official of the West Bank settlements file, Ghassan Daglas, said that scores of Jewish extremists stormed what they claim to be "Joseph Tomb" in the eastern part of Nablus under the protection of Israeli troops, to perform their Talmudic rituals.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers Tuesday arrested 10 Palestinians in the West Bank in during a raid and arrest campaign in the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Qalqilya and Jenin.
