King opens Armed Forces Command and Control Center


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 26 (Petra) - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, called on the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces, where he was welcomed by the King's Advisor for Military Affairs and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General, Mashal Mohammad Zaben, and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein.

During the visit, the King opened the newly established Armed Forces Command and Control Center which includes a number of administrative and technical facilities and has state-of-the- art operational and technological equipment used in developed countries.

His Majesty was also briefed on the duties and tasks of the Center. He also visited a Joint Special Operations Unit and attended a training activity.

The King voiced admiration of the advanced level of the Jordan Armed Forces' units.
