HR Oman Summit focuses on inspiring change


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The fourth annual HR Oman Summit began at InterContinental Muscat on Monday under the theme 'Inspiring Change: Developing National Leaders'.

Speaking about the three-day summit Rahul Bihani marketing manager Fleming Gulf the organisers of the event said "HR Oman Summit is a dedicated HR industry conference where 16 experts will share their insights in front of more than 70 industry professionals. Current challenges faced by HR professionals will be examined with the help of case studies panel discussions and high-level networking sessions."

He added "We have carefully selected top industry experts to speak at the event giving the participants the opportunity to hear first-hand experiences and solutions for overcoming the latest challenges in the field. Through presentations and interactive panel discussions we are bringing together industry experts and thought leaders to address and discuss the strategies and challenges for human resource management in the region."

The summit opened with a talk by Salam al Kindi head of HR & administration General Automotive Company and chairperson of the event for day one. It was followed by presentations by Saif al Nabhani advisor and director general of Private Health Establishment Dr Rashid al Ghailani chief human resource officer Oman Air and Dr Fawzi Mubarak al Kiyumi strategic advisor to CEO Oman Cables Industry.

First day's presentations and discussions also focused on the development of young talent at Saudi Aramco (Saudi Arabian Oil Company) challenges of nationalisation (Omanisation) in the HR sector in the sultanate building a consistent employer brand and the role of HR sector during change.
