Spain's economy to grow 2.5 percent in 2015
(MENAFN) According to the Spanish economy minister, the country's recovering economy could expand by 2.5 percent in 2015 if oil prices and the euro stayed low, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
The government said its tough austerity measures have started to strengthen the economy, which officially emerged from recession in 2013 and grew by an estimation of 1.4 percent in 2014.
"If the oil price and the exchange rate stay at these levels, we will have additional growth of 0.5 percentage points, and that is a cautious estimate," the economy minister said in a statement.
