Lebanese army arrests two Syrians for explosives, arms possession
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Two Syrians have been arrested by the Lebanese army in Zgharta, North Lebanon, for possession of explosive devices, arms, bombs, rockets, and various ammunition, army said Monday.
The two Syrian nationals were arrested during a raid by Lebanese military forces on their residence at Karam Al-Tin town in Zgharta, army said in a statement, adding that forces also seized an explosive device, four mortar bombs, three hand grenades, and other ammunition.
Meanwhile, Lebanese military forces also raided a Syrian refugee camp in the town of Kfar Zabad in Beqaa, East Lebanon, arresting 22 Syrians for not possessing legal documents and attempted to escape the arrest, the statement mentioned.
