Saudi- Daikin provides training to SEHAI instructors

(MENAFN- Arab News) Fahad Al-Harbi executive director of the Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI) the training institute under Technical and Vocation Training Cooperation (TVTC) for Saudi youth located in Diriyah Riyadh and Hiroshi Shimada GM of the Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia recently signed an agreement to train Saudi AC technicians. The world leading Japanese AC manufacturer also closed contracts with around 30 Saudi high school graduates. They will receive training under the SEHAI curriculum as the company's employee and will work for the company after the completion of the training program at the SEHAI. As part of mutual cooperation between the SEHAI and the Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia technical instructors of the SEHAI could learn from the Daikin the advanced air conditioning technologies called as the Daikin VRV system at the Daikin's office in Riyadh. The Daikin VRV system is a multi-split type air conditioner for commercial buildings that uses variable refrigerant flow control developed by the Daikin company. The system enables customers to maintain individual control in each space of a building and its precise control and inverter technology minimize energy consumption to deliver optimum energy savings. The SEHAI Instructors are now ready to teach their trainees including 30 from Daikin these advanced technologies about highly energy efficient air conditioners. SEHAI is a joint project which symbolizes a strategic partnership between the Kingdom and Japan. A two-year course provided by SEHAI has been contributing to the development of human resources in the Kingdom and to the creation of employment among Saudi youth.SEHAI has been supported by both Saudi and Japanese governments Japanese electronics and home appliances manufacturers Saudi distributors and Nippon Engineering College (NEEC).
