Trading Street Examines Potential Dow Jones Drop to 12500

(MENAFNEditorial)

“Our volume indicators reflect volume flowing into and out of .DJI at a relatively equal pace (turning bearish).  Our trend forecasting oscillators are currently turning bearish on .DJI and have had this outlook for the last 3 periods.” – Shayne Heffernan PhD in Economics

Trading Street just released its second online investment magazine with articles from 11 different contributing authors including Shayne Heffernan the famous economist that has called several market moves. His latest prediction that the Dow Jones could see 12500 this year may not be that outlandish. He sees that the Dow Jones Industrial Average is 22% above its 200 day moving average in a slowing uptrend; not good for the buyers.

While this month’s issue of Trading Street Magazine features Shayne Heffernan there are also 10 other outstanding analysts with observations and predictions for many of the markets. Two analysts have written about the gyrations in crude oil while others discuss the Swiss National Bank’s currency floor removal. There are several articles that look at different trading strategies giving guidance on market timing along with different indicators for the greatest amount of profit.

Justin Cahoon writes about how artificial intelligence and machine learning are impacting the investing world. With a background in econometrics he is particularly savvy at understanding the relationships between computing power and the markets. His use of machine learning to develop trading algorithms is at the cutting edge of what many consider the new investment “edge” for the individual trader.

Sam Barry looks at an older type of indicator called the Commitment of Traders (COT) report released each Friday covering position sizes as kept by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. In his article he explains the relationship between the COT and market movements in the currency markets.

Trading Street Magazine can be viewed by anyone online in a flip format via computer tablet or phone. These articles are great information for the novice and expert alike.
