Starbucks earnings surge 82 percent on strong sales
(MENAFN) Starbucks Corp. reported earnings increase of 82 percent in the fiscal first-quarter period as the coffee chain attracted more customers around the globe, Oman Observer reported.
Starbucks has enjoyed healthy sales growth, seeking to keep its momentum going by expanding on a number of markets and introducing new and customized menu to become a destination for quick lunch.
The Seattle-based company also tries to drive sales through its mobile app and loyalty programs, which help attracting more customers in the habit of visiting Starbucks rather than its rivals.
"Operationally, we delivered the best in-store experiences to customers in our history," the popular coffee chain's chairman and chief executive officer told investors.
