Two people killed, 13 others injured in explosions in Baghdad


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least two people were killed and 13 others injured when two bombs exploded in separate areas in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, Iraqi police said on Sunday.

The first blast took place at a square in central Baghdad, leaving two people killed and five others injured, a security source told KUNA.

At least eight people were injured in the second explosion, which took place at an area close to a restaurant in eastern Baghdadi, it said, adding the injured were admitted to hospital.
