Tunisian official hails Kuwait's care for sports of disabled people


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A Tunisian official commended here on Sunday Kuwait's leading role in reviving sports dedicated to people with disabilities, of different age and gender groups.

In a statement to KUNA on the sidelines of sport events designed for people with disabilities in Monastir, Mohammad Al-Mazoughi, head of Tunisian Paralympic Committee, said that the close cooperation between Tunisian and Kuwaiti institutions in this regard contributed to developing these kinds of sports.

The cooperation also contributed to attracting the Arab audience in sports competitions and forums held regionally and internationally, he added.

Al-Mazoughi expressed his hope that sports institutions in Kuwait and Tunisia could promote ties of bilateral cooperation through exchanging expertise and taking part in Arab and international contests relating to sports dedicated to disabled people.
