France Condemns Daash Murder of Japanese Hostage


(MENAFN- QNA) France today condemned the ugly execution of a Japanese hostaqge by daash organization.

The French presidency said in a statement that President Francois Hollande strongly condemns the heinous murder of Haruna Yukawa, the Japanese citizen who had been abducted by daash organization, calling for the release of Japanese journalist Kenji Goto who is still held captive.

The statement added that Hollande praised Japan firm commitment in the war against international terrorism and its effective role for the sake of peace in the Middle East, noting that japan can rely on the solidarity of France in this plight.

A nearly three-minute recording, posted online Saturday, shows a still image of Kenji Goto holding an apparent photograph of Haruna Yukawa's slain body, with an audio recording in which Goto spoke of the Daesh group's demand for a prisoner exchange to guarantee his release.
