Arab Interior Ministers Council's SG mourns Saudi King's demise


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Secretary General of Arab Interior Ministers Council Dr. Mohammad Koman has expressed sadness and sorrow over the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia.

"We were shocked of the passing of one of Arab World's leaders and symbols, who dedicated his life for the sake of his nation's pride and glory, and who exerted concrete efforts towards his country's prosperity and his citizens' well-being, and his country's flag to hoist high in all international arenas," Koman said in a press statement.

"The world has lost a man who was such a unique in character, history, and humanity, as well as in vision towards all Arab, Islamic, and humanitarian issues," he added.

"History will remember his luminous achievements that included all areas of life and shined all over the world, making him one history's makers who played significant roles in development and prosperity of the Kingdom," said Koman.

"He has contributed in modernizing the ruling system through ambitious developmental plans that aimed entirely towards boosting his country's status among other nations, securing an affluent and decent life for his people, and attaining safety and stability for all of those who lived inside the Kingdom," he added.

Meanwhile, Koman said that King Abdullah's righteous path will be followed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Premier Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mohammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
