Entrepreneur Proves Entrepreneurship Can Be Taught

The average teacher salary in Washington DC is $63370 per year. This sounds respectable until you consider that according to Census data for 2010 the median household income in Washington was $84523. So when you’re missing out on over $20000 of salary what do you do?

Dominick Cooper Founder of Launch Academy Tutoring Company in Tulsa OK was a high school mathematics teacher who was making as much as a waiter at Olive Garden.  “It was incredibly depressing “ Cooper explains.  “I had a 4 year degree from a private university and I was still making as much as I did when I waited tables.  I knew I was worth for more than that.”  Within 5 years Launch Academy grew from Cooper giving free tutoring lessons by himself and hanging flyers up in Panera to 10+ employees and a passive income equivalent to what he was making as a full-time teacher.

And this is not an isolated case.
