Bahrain Mourns Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques


(MENAFN- QNA) Bahrain Royal Court today mourned the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi arabia In a statement today, Bahrain expressed support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the brotherly Saudi people in these moments of grief, recalling the great marks of the deceased as the architect of his country’s landmark development strides in all fields, as well as his pivotal role in supporting the march of the GCC and cementing its pillars.

The statement, carried by Bahrain News Agency (BNA), extended the condolences of the King, government and people of Bahrain to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Al-Sauds, and the government and people of Saudi Arabia, praying Allah Almighty to lay the deceased’s soul in eternal peace.

Upon an order from the King of Bahrain, Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa issued an edict declaring a forty-day mourning during which the flags will be flown at half-mast, whereas ministries and government directorates and institutions will remain closed for three-days, starting Friday, January 23, 2015.
