Career Learning Centers presents a solution for the record numbers of RN students turned away from RN programs.

Clearwater FL January 22 2015 – Career Learning Centers has announced their new Online RN Bridge Program to help address the problems students face with current traditional paths to become an RN. Features of their program include no contracts no waitlists and self-paced courses for only $125/month.

While interest in nursing programs is strong at the university and college level data from a 2011 survey by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) found that “75587 qualified applications were not accepted at schools of nursing last year due primarily to a shortage of faculty and resource constraints.” This includes 58327 applicants that were turned away for entry-level nursing programs. The top reasons 733 surveyed nursing schools (representing 87.5% of total nursing schools in the U.S.) gave for turning away qualified applicants include insufficient clinical sites lack of faculty and limited classroom space.

Career Learning Centers sought to remedy those constraints on traditional RN programs by building a customized online program that covers the needs of students that are unable to participate in a traditional RN program or were not accepted into one. The features of their program include:

•    Online – available nationwide with no commute or class-size restriction
•    No waitlist – courses are open format available 24/7 with internet access
•    Self-paced – students choose their own course schedule and can start and stop as their schedule allows without missing content
•    Subscription based – $125/month without a contract or down payment
