Positive K9 Training one of Melbourne’s leading dog and puppy training schools have finished a successful year in 2014 and are looking forward to what 2015 brings for the company. While the end of 2014 bought in steady business for the company 2015 was a busy start with a high demand for dog and puppy training in the area.

Now that the Christmas season is over the team have returned from a well deserved break and are now well rested and ready for a productive 2014. Positive K9 Training have found that January is always the busiest time of the year for the team as many kids throughout the area are gifted with puppies for Christmas presents.

We recently spoke to Chris Loverseed - the owner and operator of the business - about how business has been for his company so far. Chris was quoted saying: “Just like last year January has proven to be the busiest time of the year for us. With the team back on board we are more than ready to get stuck into training dogs and puppies throughout Melbourne and its surrounding suburbs. Our commitment is still to providing an exceptional training service to dogs and puppies of all breeds ages and stages of life.

The increase of demand for dog and puppy training appears to be a result of puppies being gifted as Christmas presents. Although puppies are great presents for the kids people need to realise the responsibility that comes with a pet - especially if they are not house trained. We encourage any new dog or puppy owners to get in touch with our team so we can help train them to be the best pet you’ve ever had!”

A local Thornbury resident David was one of many who gifted a puppy as a present to his children. We recently interviewed him about signing up to puppy training with Positive K9 Training and he had this to say: “I knew the kids would love a new puppy for Christmas but also knew that no puppy comes fully trained! I booked in for training immediately so that he learnt good habits quickly. The kids come along to the training as well and boy do we have fun! We’ve noticed dramatic improvements in our puppy’s habits already and cannot wait to see further improvements that come with more training. Chris and his team have been great to deal with and I couldn’t imagine getting help from any other dog trainer in Melbourne!”
